A short-arrangement based program called ‘Anaharir Ahar’ has been running since August 2020 on Nree Foundation. The project started in order to provide food to starving people everyday through the fundings.
The Nree Foundation has pledged to keep providing educational support to the meritorious students who wish to continue their study further for a better cause of the society and are meritorious for helping them in this regard.
The Nree Foundation started providing one-time meals to unemployed, half-starved and starving people during the times of Covid-19/ Global Pandemic for the better and greater good of the society in a larger number.
Nree Foundation is building houses on the land of flood victims and deliver them free of cost. Already, ten families of Jhinaigati, Sherpur, received houses from Nree Foundation. The first Ten recipients are Hares Ali, Soimuddin Mia, Rabeya, Moriom, Sokhina Khatun, Selim Uddin Mia, Hazrat Ali, Saleha, Toffazzal Hosen, Jobed Ali.
Md. Mashrequl Haque Ruman, President of Nree Foundation, handed over the houses to the flood victims in their locality. Arzu Ahmed, Field Co-ordinator, Abdullah and Razib Ahmed, Veteran Voulteer of the Foundation, was also present in the process. In the near future, 20 more families will get the same facility.
In this flood relief campaign, Nree Foundation has collaborated with various people and orgizations as donor. Nree Foundation selects the recipients and coordinates with them by bulding houses.
Besides this, Nree Foundation distributed cooked food for 1600 families and dry food for 900 families in Nalitabari, Nakla and Jhinaigati Upazila during the flood.
Nree Foundation has participated in such humanitarian works in Sherpur for the last 4 years. During natural disasters, Nree Foundation actively supported the people of Sherpur.
Nree Foundation feels glad to inform that, Mr. Mohammad Firoz Al Mamun, Upazila Executive Officer, Sherpur Sadar on 21 December, 2020 visited the ‘Anaharir Ahar’ program. During this time, he participated as the chief guest in the winter clothing distribution program organized by the Nree Foundation and donated 50 blankets and 30 packets of food to the poor and needy to encourage the activities of the foundation. On behalf of the Nree Foundation all of us expressed our special gratitude to him for his time.
