A short-arrangement based program called ‘Ahanharir Ahar’ has been running since August 2020. At first, the project started in order to provide food to 25 starving people every day. At present, the number of daily guests of this program has reached more than a hundred. Free masks have been distributed among the beneficiaries who did not have masks to ensure health facilities. There are separate dishes and glasses for everyone which are always being soaked in soapy water immediately after their usage to keep it sterile. Safe water and soap have been provided for hand washing purposes as well for maintaining hygiene regulations. Masks, glasses, face shields, gloves, gowns have been given to those who are engaged in the great responsibility of food distribution. Everyday rice, pulses, eggs, potatoes or other vegetables and on various national days more improved meals as per the wishes of the donors are served free of cost through this initiative of the Nree Foundation.
